The nightingale of India Lata Mangeshkar becomes 82 today and still continues to pour her soul into songs and all dignitaries from Bollywood start to wish the legendary singer through Twitter ad many other medias. Everybody is feeling very proud to wish that singer who has made India proud. The famous singer Sonu Nigam told that they are very lucky that they have taken birth in Lataji’s time. He considers Lata Mangeshkar as Goddess of music and inspiration of not only this generation but also the coming generation. The sweet melodious singer Shreya Ghoshal clarify Lataji as her teacher and her inspiration. She has wished her for happiness. Another famous singer Shann adds his wish in Lataji’s birthday. His opinion about Lata Mangeshkar is whatever he says about her is less. He confesses that her voice is different and unique. The beautiful actress Diya Mirza thinks that for any actress Lataji singing for her is real blessing and she wish her happy life and sings forever. Yash Chopra, the film maker expressed his feelings in very touchy way. He felt proud because as an artist Lata Mangeshkar was born on Indian soil. Yash Chopra worked with Lata Mangeshkar from the very beginning. Their first project was “Dhool Ka Phool” and the last till date is “Veer Zaara.”

The Nightingale of India has approximately 30,000 songs to her pocket has decided to spend her birthday quietly with her family and attend an award function later in the day. According to PTI in an interview Lata told, “I do not celebrate my birthday in a lavish way. I do not believe in cutting cakes. It will be a family affair...Where all family members will be present. My whole day will be spent in accepting wishes from friends and fans worldwide. Later in the day, I will go for Hridaynath award function,”
